Frequently Asked Questions About Hair Transplants
Are FUE and DHI competing methods?
No. FUE describes harvesting follicles, while DHI describes placement with an implanter. They can be used together in one procedure.
How many grafts are needed?
Donor capacity, hair thickness and existing hair matter as much as area size. An exact number requires an examination.
Is the procedure painful?
Local anaesthesia is usually used. Discomfort may occur during or after anaesthesia; experiences vary.
When will I see results?
Growth develops over months. Many people notice clearer changes at 6–9 months; the full appearance may take 10–18 months.
Does a transplant stop hair loss completely?
A transplant does not itself stop loss of existing hair. Long-term follow-up and appropriate treatments matter.
When can I return to work?
It depends on the physical demands of your work, recovery and treatment plan. Agree the right time with your doctor.
Are the models on this site real patients?
The images are illustrative and do not show actual patient results.
